Loren Lawrie - Board President
Loren Lawrie is the current and founding Board President for EagleRidge High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Management-Information Systems and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting Technology, both from Oregon Institute of Technology. He also received a certificate of graduation from the Pacific Coast Banking School held at the University of Washington. Loren has been employed by South Valley Bank & Trust for 30 years and currently holds the title of Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Corporate Secretary, providing leadership to the finance, information systems, and operations groups. He sits on various bank committee’s including Asset and Liability Management, Audit, Compliance, Executive Management, Information Systems, Internal Control, Investment, Loan, Operations, Trust, and Wealth Management.
Previous to his service to EagleRidge, Loren was elected as a founding Board Member for Klamath Community College and served that Board for eight years, holding both the Vice Chair and Chairperson roles during his tenure. He has also served on various other educational groups including the Klamath 2002 workforce task group and the Business Advisory Council for Mazama High School.
Loren believes that a strong education is the platform for each individual’s success in life, no matter what avenue they pursue. By providing a personalized and meaningful educational environment, students will be challenged to reach their full potential and will learn real-world skills that will assist them in achieving their life goals and to be contributing members of their communities.
